DISCOVER ROMANIA IN 10 DAYS

Route line: Suceava - Radauti - Gura Gumorului - Campulung - Borsa - Sighetu Marmatiei  -  Sighisoara - Curtea de Arges - Bran - Sinaia - Brasov - Baile Tusnad - Lacul Rosu- Lacul Izvorul Muntelui - Manastirea Neamt  - Falticeni – Suceava.

Day I:

Departure at 9 a.m from Bucharest to Sibiu (European Cultural Capital). We are going through Fagaras Mountains, on Transfagarasan highway. Accommodation at Sibiu - Dumbrava Palace Hotel (5*).

Sightseeing objectives: Transfagarasanul, Vidraru Lake, Balea Lake (glacial), Capra Waterfall, Balea Waterfall, Brukental Museum.

 

Day II:

After breakfast a Sibiu sightseeing follows and then we are going to Sighisoara – the best preserved medieval market town in Europe (year 1280). Accommodation - Hotel Corona (3*). Visit at medieval fortress, free time.

Sightseeing objectives: Astra Dumbrava Sibiu Museum (the biggest in Europa), Vlad Dracul House, the towers of handicraftsmen’s workrooms from Sighisoara Fortress (the tower with clock, the leather-dresser’ tower, the goldsmith’ tower, the blacksmith’ tower etc)


Day III:

Breakfast. Transfer at Sighetul Marmatiei with stop at Targu Mures and Bistrita Nasaud (lunch). Accomodation Hotel David`s (3*). Free time.
Sightseeing objectives: Culture Palace (Tg. Mures), Communism victims and communism opposants Memorial.

 

Day IV:

After breakfast, we are pleased to invite you to sightseeing in Maramures: Sapanta, Bogdan Voda, Ieud villages. At Barsana, a group of children will perform traditional songs and dances. Then we will go to Borsa (at Rodnei Mountains foot). Accommodation - Perla Maramureseana (3*).
Sightseeing objectives: The Merry Cemetery and Sapanta Monastery, Barsana Monastery Center, Ieud Village Museum, Bogdan Voda Monastery.

 

Day V:

This is a day for relaxation at Borsa, a resort situated at Rodna Mountains foot with a natural and picturesque profile. Nature lovers can make trips at Stiol Lake (glacial) and at Cailor Waterfall and for dinner a barbeque will be served, at bonfire light.

 

Day VI:

Today we leave at 8, 30 a.m. after a short breakfast because, in our way to Bucharest, we will stop at Ciocanesti where we will taste the best trout cooked in branch of a fir tree. The main attractions of this route are the monasteries with outside frescos, included in UNESCO patrimony.  Accomodation-Best Western Bucovina.
Sightseeing objectives: Ciocanesti Trout Farm, Moldovita Monestery, Sucevita Monestery, Minor Basilica from Cacica, Voronet Monestery.

 

Day VII:

After breakfast, at 8, 30 a.m. we cross the Bicaz Passes to Rosu Lake and we will accommodate at Lacul Rosu Hotel (3*).
Sightseeing objectives: Throne Fortress of  Suceva, Agapia Monestery, Izvorul Muntelui Lake  with Bicaz Dam, Bicaz  Passes, Rosu Lake.

 

Day VIII:

Departure at 9 a.m. after breakfast. We are going to Brasov for lunch and town sightseeing, with stop at Tusnad.  Accommodation at Ana Hotel – 3*, in Poiana Brasov .
Sightseeing objectives: Sf. Ana Lake (volcanic) , Brasov – Counsel Place, Black Church.

 

Day IX:

Breakfast at 8,30 a.m. and then we leave to discover the Dracula Count Legend at Bran Castle. After lunch we leave for Dambovicioara and then we return to Poiana Brasov (accommodation Ana Hotel), with a stop at Rasnov 
Sightseeing objectives Bran Castle, Dambovicioara Cave, Rasnov Fortress.

 

Day X:

With regrets, we leave for Bucharest. Besides a great landscape, in our way we stop at Sinaia and then at Azuga for a wine and a fresh trout taste.
Sightseeing objectives:  Peles Castle, Pelisor Castle, Rhein Wine Cellar, Azuga Trout Farm.
