First day:
You have the chance to discover the charm of a cosmopolitan city in which history speaks at every step. The cultural inheritance is present in museums and churches, but especially in the pedestrian streets and also in the squares from the historic centre.
After we visit the old centre, we dine at one of the restaurants with traditional cuisine and after that we go towards Astra museum, the biggest opened air museum in Europe. This museum is founded in 1940 and occupies 993 ha, contains a 16 ha lake and 340 traditional houses from different parts of Romania.
Second day:
We go towards the best preserved and also populated medieval fortress from Europe-Sighisoara. On our way we will visit the fortified churches from Slimnic and Biertan and we will make a short tour of Medias. At Sighisoara, you’ll have enough time to visit the fortress with the Tower with Clock, Vlad Dracul House etc, or just simple walks on the tight streets of Sighisoara.
Third day:
We spend it in Brasov, located at the feet of Bucegi Mountains, an old commercial and cultural centre of Romania. A peaceful city, of which history charms the tourists with its tight streets which all go to Sfatului Square where The Black Church stands, a real work of art which became the touristic symbol of Brasov.
Fourth day:
We pass the Bucegi Montains on the flow of Timis River, we continue our trip on Valea Prahovei and we arrive in Sinaia, one of the most appreciated and beautiful mountain resorts from Romania. Here we have all the time in the world to visit Peles Castle-the summer residence of the royal family, Sinaia monastery, or to buy some souvenirs. In our way to Brasov, those who want can taste some wines from Valey wine cellars from Azuga.
Fifth day:
Is dedicated to the legendary Bram Stocker’s character, Dracula. We first visit Rasnov fortress (built by Vlad Tepes) and then we visit Bran Castle, a place full of history and legends. In our way to Moeciu, where we will accommodate, will make a stop to visit Dambovicoiara cave.
Sixth day:
We come back to Sibiu, on a track not without surprises. So will make a detour of a few miles to pray at Samabata de Sus monastery, where many miracles happened. If we have time we will visit the stud from Sambata de Jos, and after that we arrive at Sibiu where we say goodbye to a beatifull trip.
